  1. what hospital?
  2. I had my exam, initial interview (at HR) and interview (at the nursing office) last July (3rd week I think). Do you think I still have the chance at MMC? I really feel down because it's been 3 months already and I haven't received a call or text from them. Does it mean I didn't make it? Do they already have a new batch of trainees?
  3. And by the way, if you can't take the exam this Oct-Nov 2013 for the February-August 2014 Batch. I think the next exam schedule is May-June 2014 for the August 2014-February 2015 Batch. Ask them when they will start registration for the examination. You have to be there on the first day of registration because slots for exam are easily filled up.
  4. No. but you won't pay them for training either. so i guess, it's alright. I tell you, you will really learn a lot from this institution. I think they are conducting exams this month until November. However, you are allowed to take the exam as long as you have registered prior to the schedule. But I think as of today, slots are already full. You can drop by at the nursing education and training branch of AFPMC at V.Luna to inquire if they still accept examinees.
  5. Thank you yourstruly! May I ask what certificate they are going to give you after the 6 months training? And do you need to complete the 6 months?
  6. is SJMC a tertiary hospital?
  7. Thank you yourstruly! May I ask what certificate they are going to give you after the 6 months training? And do you need to complete the 6 months?
  8. Can you PM me the name of the Chief Nurse and his/her title? Thank you! Do they conduct it per batch? When will the next batch start? Thank you again :)
  9. Hi yourstruly. Did you pass your requirements there or are you finished with the training? May I know their requirements and where to apply (HR or Nursing Office)? Thanks in advance :)
  10. It is for free. But unfortunately, the chance to be absorbed is based on your backer. However, backer is not much needed to be accepted in the training because I have heard that some RN Residents do not have a backer. But having a backer is an advantage. High board rating is also a plus. And of course, you need to register early for the examination for RN Residents because it is easily filled up. :)
  11. @amaezing12 I PMed you where I was assigned because some may identify me in this thread. Hehehe. I'm just curious. Is your rotation every 3 months like with our batch? or they have it back every 2 months again? Anyway, good luck. It maybe hard for the first 2 weeks but as days go by, you will feel like you're one of the staff too. :)
  12. When did you graduate? AFPMC is really a good training ground. Grab all the opportunities to learn and experience doing bedside nursing care. Anyway, it's fiesta in AFPMC today. I see new RN Res being assigned to the different wards for orientation. I think you know now what is your area. Who knows we have the same area. Hehe. :)
  13. What ward are you going to report on duty? :) I'm an outgoing RN Res. Experience in AFPMC is really worth it. You will really learn a lot. I'm going to miss this institution so much.
  14. You don't have to pay for the training. They are not strict with board rating especially if you have a BACKER, but having a high board rating is a PLUS. The qualifying exam is more on Funda and MS. But of course, OB, pedia, etc. and especially drug computations are possible.
  15. Aww. I didn't receive any text from them. Does it mean I didn't make it? I'm still hoping and praying for it.
