  1. here's what I've learned so far.. they screen your credentials first: board rating should be 80 or higher, came from a reputable school and hospital experience is just optional. once you've passed all the screening processes from credentials to exams and interviews. you'll be trained for a month under COPN. During training, just have a positive attitude and follow ALL the rules. never be late/ absent. You should be presentable, they are very particular with grooming. All these are just basics, it shouldn't be too hard for you :) GOODLUCK! SEE YOU THERE!
  2. signed the contract today. they are already interviewing nurses for the next batch. pass your applications now!
  3. Is there any news about when the second batch would start with training?
  4. They said they will call on the first week of Jan... wait for the call to pass the requirements... and yeah I got the same info too, that training will probably start about first or second quarter of the year. Some of my friends who passed the final interview were called about the ward clerk position, they were told that there is still no definite time for the start of CETN and that it might take 3-6 months. I wasn’t called and I’m still waiting for their go signal to pass the requirements.
  5. maybe you should wait for the next opening because from what I've heard, they already stopped accepting applicants, those who underwent medical exams are the ones for final interview and i think the final interviews are almost done.
  6. are you done with the medical/physical exam?
  7. i expected to start on january too. from what ive heard, they dont really hire people at the end of the year.
  8. how do they select the people they call for this position? is there still something to expect come next year? why is it taking so long, they posted vacancies as early as sept last year, now there is no vacancy?
  9. i think they stopped accepting applicants around that time, not sure, you can wait for the next opening but as I've said earlier, the first screening will be based on your resume, board rating and school standing. if you have a board rating that's above 80, and come from a reputable school, you're safe. that's what I've heard from the others. :) **that thing about coming from a reputable school is also on their jobstreet post.
  10. as of now they've stopped accepting applicants, but they will probably have another opening for the CETN later this year. keep yourselves posted this usually happens around June. I'll also update you guys here from time to time. one of the people i met during the interview told me she was offered another position while waiting for the training (CETN), they said that deployment for staff nurses is tentative and that she will be transferred once the training starts. do you guys have the same experience? to those who already passed the final interview, were any of you called about the same thing? cause none of my other friends were told about this and i'm just confused.. by passing the final interview and giving your word that you are willing to wait, that is a sure spot on CETN already right? guys, please enlighten me.. as of now I'm sticking to the first hand instructions i received, wait for the call on the first week of January to pass my requirements. How soon can they tell us the definite date of our start? It doesn't have to be right away, I just need to be sure when it would be so I can make other plans as well... like get a part time job or something.
  11. it usually takes 2 wks. try to call them and follow up. maybe the HR people are really busy right now cause it's the end of the year and they have to process a lot of things like 13th month hehe.. :) if none in your batch were called yet, dont fret maybe there was a delay in the evaluation or something.
  12. hi! just go to the HR office, i think it's in the 6th flr, tower 1, however, i think they already stopped accepting applicants, so just wait for the next opening. TO BE SURE, CALL THEM 888-8999
  13. i think they also posted this on jobstreet. :)
  14. I'm not sure when they stopped accepting applications. I've seen in another forum that they already refused to accept credentials by oct. so chances are you will be pooled for the next opening. First screening started with the evaluation of transcript, board rating and resume. I've heard from others that if you have an average of 80% and above and came from a reputable school that you'll be considered. If you passed these criteria and still wasn't called most probably you'll be put in the next batch. But just to be sure, submit your credentials again once they open.
  15. so I've heard. i really wish we'd have better luck.
