AFP medical center RN residency

hi. does anyone here have tried applying in afp medical center for rn residency this is a six months training. i just want to ask if they have physical requirement to those aspiring applicant? what if you are wearing eyeglasses can you still apply? because as what i've read on the other post they prefer those who are not wearing eyeglasses.

@ Steffie: yahh, they're still accepting new applicants..Just go there and log in to there log sheet. And there you'll see the schedule for the qualifying exam. Good luck!

Just been there last May 21...I signed-in names of my friends too...We'll take the exam on 2nd month of June...hope it'll be just fine... anyway...does anyone know the exact dress code that an examinee must wear on the exam? I think we have to wear duty uniform with cap right?:nurse:

and...as i may remember...the staff of the nursing service in that hospital was not really that approachable, don't know why people must act that way to their fellow Filipinos...so maybe you have to give them a very big bright smile to brighten up their day before signing-in to the registration sheet. :D why don't we serve with a smile...hope their staff knew how to smile.:nurse:

Hi, anyone scheduled on June 15 or 16? I went there and got my schedule (June 15), which I later learned was a Tuesday. That got me a little confused because I know they only set exams on mondays and wednesdays. I tried calling them but no one's answering. Can anyone pm me their number? Thanks!

I don't think they just set exams on mon or weds...they already indicate the dates where you logged in...We're scheduled June 11 and its Friday...

Yupp..correct..It doesn't matter if that would be Tuesday,Thursday,Friday or what

as long as you signed there that particular date and time.So, you need to follow that..and I'll be having my qualifying exam nxt week Tuesday @ 1pm..

Good luck to all of us who'll take the exam...anyway...anyone who has hints of how many items are we going to have in that exam?I'm kinda worried here...even though I'm reviewin' it was like...I'm not doin' any efforts at all...hooooh...hehehe...:idea::uhoh3::eek:

That's a very good question Steffie, I asked the personnel there and they told me that it's 100 items total in all..

is it really necessary to wear the school duty uniform with the apron and white stockings from college or you can wear any white duty uniform like what the c.i.'s are wearing?the blouse and pants right?

- coz' it's a hassle if I'll wear white stockings, rather than wearing the white pants...:confused:

white duty uniform

for ladies: white uniform (pants is allowed), white shoes, cap (you may use your school cap)

* if you will be wearing the dress-like uniform use white stockings.

for men: your usual duty uniform

bring pencils and calculator =)
