Affinity Drug Test

Published

I recently had a nail drug test I wanted to know how long it usually takes to get the results back through affinity. It's went through USDTL

It depends on what it was.  The turnaround times vary greatly. I've had a Peth come back in 3 days and up to 10.

You mean the results or the type of test?. I got a nail test done.

I've never had nails done, only hair- those seem to be about a week (M-F).With most tests, if the preliminary result is positive, it takes much longer because they have to validate it  further. I would think a nail test would take longer in general.  Hope that helps!

if the result is positive do you have to stay in the program longer even though you told them you did the drug in the eval?

Almost invariably, yes. They consider a positive drug test result as 'material evidence". But, it really depends on who your case manager is, and how well she does, or does not advocate for you.
