Long story short I am U.S resident who is currently completing her nursing education (BSCN) in Ontario,Canada. I plan to move back to Connecticut once I graduate and I plan to take the NCLEX in Connecticut. I wanted to know if anyone has any idea of the requirements/steps/ documents needed for an easy transition from Canada to Connecticut. For example, do I need to present certain documents from the Canadian university to show that I am qualified to write the Nclex? Are there any additional/extra steps i have to take since my education was based in Canada rather than in the states.

You need to follow state requirements for someone that trained outside the US. Usually requires a report from CGFNS or other acceptable agency and process before taking NCLEX is usually 4 months long

Since the NCLEX is identical on both sides of the border and accepted as equivalent, I'd advise you to just write the exam in Canada and get it over with. The odds are, you'll need to be registered in Ontario to apply for registration in Connecticut so it only makes sense.
