Help! I need some advice. I am a single mom of four children 8 years old and under. Right out of graduation I took a job in a pediatric doctors office. I have been very frusted for the most part. I am now looking for another job. Here's my question: Are there jobs out there that I can work from 12 nooon til 12 midnight 3-4 days a week and keep the same days each week? Am I asking too much from a job? And what are my opions for still being able to see my kids everyday? I know I have alot of questions. I hope someone can help. Thanks.

you should look online and call agencies perhaps you can find something like that.

I know in my hospital, the admitting nurse worked m-f from 3pm-12pm

You should be able to find something along those lines. I do think that you may have to work some weekends though. Where I live there are plenty of 11p-11a jobs and I have a friend who just got a 12p-12a job. Good luck!

Have you ever considered a premium weekend position aka baylor? At the hospitals in my area you get paid for 36 hours while only working 24. They offer 7-7 and 3-3 shifts. Either Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun

If the kids Dad can watch them on the weekends, you would be home with them all week.

And I am pretty sure, close to positive it would be more money than the Drs office!!!

If you can find someone to watch the kiddos on weekends, definatly find a weekend track/premium job. I have been doing weekend track since Oct ( I have three, 7, 5 and 2) and it has been a godsend.

The only reason I'm taking something else is because I want to work in a different specialty.
