I am a beginning pre-nursing student, ive just successfully completed my first semester with 13 credit hours! Whooo! My advisor told me if i follow the schedule she mapped out for me then i will be ready to sign up for nursing school in summer 2010, thats along with taking my HESI test. after i've signed up there is a minimum 2yr wait to get called back depending on if anyone doesnt drop out which might happen. while im on the list will my nursing classes take up most of that time? Also how long is nursing school once i enter the program? I am really curious about this? Any and every peace of advice can help! Also will student loans come in handy seeing as though i wont be able to work as much due to studying? Im just lost as to whats next to come! Thanks anyone!

Your school can tell you how long your nursing program is. We have no idea what school you are going to.

If you're doing an ADN program, it will generally be two years. The ADN program that I hope to eventually be in is five semesters.
It sounds like you still have some questions, perhaps you could call the adviser or email the adviser for some additional information?
Thanks for the advice it is an ADN program n ur right i should call an advirsor but sometimes they give me answers that dont exactly answer the question. 5 semestersisnt bad at all i guess ill stick it out and get this done.
