Advice please!

Do you think taking physiology and microbiology in the same semester is a bad idea?

I dont think I would do organic chemistry in the summer either.. as much as I want to make use of each month and get into nursing school asap. :(

Thanks you guys for the advice! I've been mistaken it's Intro Gen.,Org.,&Bio Chem. Would that still be consider a lot along with taking Anatomy for the summer?

Depends, are you doing one science for Summer 1 and the other for the second summer semester? I maybe wouldn't take them both in the same summer session, cause two science classes in 6 weeks together is not something everyone can do. Your school does split the summer up into more than one semester right?

Like everything else, no matter the semester it is, it all depends on you. There are people who take sciences in the summer and excel and do great, and others who are unable to. YOU have to decide what you are capable of as far as that. Just because someone else doesn't think they can do a science in the summer doesn't mean you can't. Like I told you in the other post, what works for some doesn't work for others when it comes to which classes to take with others and when to take them. If YOU think you can do it, go for it. I know plenty of people, who took Micro, A&P's and Chemistry courses over the summer who did fine. (myself included) They were just serious and dedicated to doing so.

Different people have different abilities and different obligations outside school. Take inventory of YOUR skills, abilities, and obligations and decide what is best for YOU! The most important consideration is that you not only pass, but do your absolute best in pre-nursing classes. Nursing schools have become so competitive that applicants with 3.5 GPAs are being rejected. Passing two or more classes with B's or C's will get you no where in the long run.
