Anyone have any suggestion on how to teach NG tube insertion on a patient that does not speak English(or any specified language)? We are doing a paper and are stuck finding credible sources. Point me in the right direction.

Hello Malave
All i have to teach and cant express to a pacient i use pictures and drawings...
i think its the better way to express what you will do or what you want pacient to do if he doesnt understand you.. and if you use pictures he can understand even if he doesnt read.
other great idea is to try to talk his language...ask for help for translation from someone of his family maybe ... i allready learned how to talk some words in some African dialects just to understand pacients that dont talk portuguese at all (im portuguese...)
Also do the training with another person in front of the patient.
