Cali's in the house. Congratulations to you all.
Do organize yourself.
Do read (or at least skim) the chapters before class.
Do make good study buddies.
Do put all your clinical supplies in one central, easily located place.
Do ask questions when you don't understand.
Do utilize all your available learning resources: study guides, online websites, skills lab, skills mentors, etc.
Do tell your family to forgive your absences at functions.
Do use a content NCLEX study guide such as Saunders throughout your program.
Don't be afraid to ask for help.
Don't kill yourself trying to work full time and go to school full time.
Don't worry if the house is not as clean as you would like it.
Don't beat yourself up for small mistakes.
Don't worry too much. Nursing school is only temporary.
Good luck.
Yeah, I'm super excited, but kinda nervous too.
Thanks for all the advice hands and heart!
