Have you heard much in the way of reputation or turn over rates at these facilities? How is the staffing? Aide to patient ratio? Opportunities for education or advancements? Overtime pay? Vacation time? Benefits? Take a little time and do some research into the facilities. It may help you in figuring out what will be best for you. Good Luck! :)

Thank you so much sparrow91 for responding I'll definitely investigate a bit more

yes, take a look at the facilities rating with the state. You can google nursing homes as if you were looking for care for a loved one. It will show you the states rating. A facility with a low rating is likely very difficult to work in for many different reasons.

If they both come up with the same rating, I'd go with the one who has several "sister branches"...gives you some wiggle room if the "branches" are within your area.

Always check the place out first. When I first got my cna I was so excited didn't do any research. I was underpaid and when I looked online my facility had low ratings and high turnover rate. Its great to work at LTC for the experience. But try to get on rehab if possible. Its not easy work, very back breaking. GOOD LUCK! also don't let distance intimidate you. Always go for the better job.
