Might want to start college first and then maybe get accepted to nursing school. I have not heard of any anesthesia programs that follow you through nursing school. Start at square one before trying to jump to square 12.

My class has about the youngest I have heard of and he started right before his 25th birthday.

Best case scenario is that it takes you 5-6 years before getting into school.

Specializes in burn ICU, SICU, ER, Trauma Rapid Response.

*** Getting hired as an RN in a high intensity surgical / trauma/ CV ICU in a high nurse autonomy hospital would speed things up for you.

The fastest way I know to get into CRNA school, and the rout I have observed several people take is to do an associated degree in two years, get hired in an ICU like I mention above, and enroll in an RN to BSN program. In a total of four years you could have an RN, BSN and two years of high quality ICU experience and be ready to apply to CRNA school. You will have made something like $120K over those two years to boot.

The bottle neck now days is getting that ICU job.

Thank you By wut age are most nurse anthestist when thy finish the program?

*** I don't know what age most are when they finish. I have seen nurses leave our ICU for CRNA school as young as 22 and as old as early 50's.
