I graduate in December with my ADN/RN. I would really like to work for two years since that's what most agencies require and then start traveling. I have heard a lot of nightmare stories about agencies not treating people right. What are some good agencies to contract through for traveling? What agencies should I avoid? For those of you who have been a travel nurse did you like it? I have pets will they work with me in getting a place to rent with dogs? What are the benefits of being a travel nurse? What are some negatives? Any advice to do with travel nursing is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
You are so right this is a assignment our teacher gave us! I am just so happy to almost be graduating! I know I really wanna travel so was just curious in people's perspectives! Any advice on taking the NCLEX :) we can start with baby steps!
Just to let you know - I've been traveling for 18 yrs. with an ADN. The issue has never come up, even at hospitals encouraging/requiring BSN for their staff.
