I applied for my first time, I graduate in 2 weeks.
I was wondering about salary, it says $24. Other residencies seem to start considerably higher. Does the salary stay the same once the program is over? Is the huge difference between Adventist and, say, OHSU because of union vs non-union wages?
Sorry, I'm from out of state so I have no idea how the wages work in Oregon.
Good luck to everyone who has applied!!

Wages depend on the area and cost of living. Areas with higher cost of living will expect to start out at a higher wage compared to areas with a lower cost of living.

I am aware of how cost of living impacts pay scale.
I am trying to figure out why there is a large gap in salaries within the relatively same geographical area. Legacy's residency salary lists at 30.77, Adventist lists their residency salary at 24.00.
I am wondering if Legacy is union while Adventist is not. Or, does Adventist increase the pay once the residency is complete?
EDIT: I just read that Legacy is non-union. So now I'm even more confused.

Has anyone applied to the Adventist Portland New grad program or gone through the process? Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
