I think I had 6 or 7 over the course of nearly 2 years and they fired me. I really was constantly sick when I worked there because of the stress of being there. The supervisor acted uppity and said "I've only called out twice in like 20 something years I've been a nurse". Yet they would always tell us if you're sick, call out. I had two months left within my new grad contract. Just know that with that many call outs you have, you're on thin ice and they're watching you like a hawk, waiting for you to slip up. You should've at least had a verbal warning by now.

WOW! Even their own policy says 3 call ins are allowed in a year! I've been working with them for nearly 4 years.
Did they give you any warning before termination of your employment?

Wow! Three call ins a year are allowed! How generous, NOT! My best advice to the OP worrying about losing her job is find a non-bedside job where you aren't as stressed and exposed to as many bugs and you will probably be much happier and less prone to illness!

Do you know anybody who has been terminated by AdventHealth for too many absentee (like 8 days in one year)?
I had to call in sick for 8th time in a one year period and now I'm concerned whether they'd fire me without any verbal or written warning or not!
