Hi,
I am researching online schools to obtain my Masters as a family NP. Have a Bachelors in science but an associated in nursing. Looking for my best options. Any advice welcome!
Thanks in advance

Try googling "RN to MSN" or "RN to NP" programs - there are many out there. Do carefully evaluate the programs to make sure they are a good fit for you and that they will set you up well to practice. Ideally the program should offer well-vetted clinical placements/preceptors to you, and set you up to be a competent new graduate entering practice. The combination of rigorous academics, offering clinical placements, affordable cost, fast, and online only will likely not be found in one program.

I completed my CRNP locally at a brick and mortar university, mostly because it is so difficult to find clinical preceptors. As the previous poster stated, you could do an RN to MSN program, and this may lessened the required credits you are required. I am not sure how those credit hours are billed but if you are being billed BSN credits at MSN rates because you are in a “masters program I would think it would almost be simpler to complete your BSN online. Good luck to you!
