I applied to Grossmont for fall 2022 cohort. Mailed my application last week, but I anticipate having to wait 8-12 weeks to hear back

I applied to Palomar, MiraCosta and Grossmont. I’m considering throwing an app at SDCC just for good measure. The waiting is the worst part. Based on last year, it looks like notifications went out second week of April through May. Best of luck to everyone!

Waiting is definitely is the worst part. What was your stats for points and TEAS if you don't mind me asking?

I think my total points was about 85-88 and TEAS 88.9%

If I did my math right, I think my points ended up around 92-93. I had a 96% on my TEAS and a 4.0 on the science pre-reqs. I also already have my BA. All that being said, each cohort is unique so who knows what the cutoff will be this round.

Which school is your preference?

Miracosta is starting to send out notifications. I didn't get in. There were over 400 applicants and only 25 were accepted.

You’re not alone. I didn’t get in either. But remember it was a lottery, so it was a bit of a crapshoot.

Hello,

I received an acceptance letter from Mira Costa today for the Fall 2022 and I started a facebook page if there are others in this cohort that would like to connect, please join me! Thanks you. https://www.facebook.com/groups/964352837602735

If you didn't make it in yet, don't lose hope , this was my second time applying. Last semester I had three schools send me rejection letters. I volunteered this last semester and earned some valuable experiences then gave it another shot . Don't give up!

Congratulations getting in!  May I ask how many points you had?

I was mid 90's , but this is the first time Mira Costa did the lottery with the top 150 applicants.

Hi! I just got accepted to Palomar, and also got into Southwestern’s ADN program back in February.

Palomar points were 85-88 (depending on life points given or not). I had 4.0 in all prereqs, CNA, an Associate’s, & 92% on the TEAS.
