So i just went today and checked out a junior college in my area that is starting a 2 yr adn program for RN. Everything sounded great until the lady told me the cost of the program, they have 8 terms which are 12 weeks long each and cost 5400 a term, to me that seemed outrageous. It would cost approx. 44000 to do this program. How much is everyone elses program?
The cost of our 2 year program (21 months) is about $10K but that includes if you have to take all the classes necessary for the program. I have knocked a good bit of my classes out expect A&PII and Micro. And the way our school is doing the Pell Grants we can get them in the summer if we weren't full time during botht the fall and spring. So I will be only part-time this fall (because of the Pell and I do not want to over do it the first semester). So I am looking at around $5K, if that to do the program. A blessing if I can get scholarships and grants. They will be paying me to go to school .

I'm attending a Big 10 school in PA with many satellite campuses - its going to cost me about $25K - but I already have my BA from them so all my electives are covered...unfortunately the campus I attend doesn't have the Accelerated BSN program and the other school in the area that does is a religiously affiliated college and their program includes quite a few religion classes - which I won't take and don't feel I need...
