Ok, I have a question. Is ADN Pharm differant than BSN Pharm? As I said in one of my other posts, I failed Pharm in the fall. I asked the director if we could take Pharm with the ADN students, Of course she said no, "the ADN Pharm was differant and it was not as hard as the BSN class". That is kind of strange to me, ADN is an RN also, they have to know just as much about meds as BSN does. RIGHT... So someone enlighten me to the difference. I don't believe it is differant because they don't have ADN NCLEX and BSN NCLEX, and they give the same meds as BSN does, right...

The same textbook is used at the local community college for their ADN program and the BSN program at the local university

My father taught pharm to BSN students at the State University. When he looked at my syllabus & textbook he considered them more than equivalent. He also thought that 2 credits was a cheat.
Also, our state univ. takes our tech colleges pharm for transfer to the BSN program.
Get a copy of the syllabi and compare them yourself. But frankly I find no usually means no when dealing with NS administration.
what is funny, is that my school offersa BSN and ADN both. The teacher that teaches BSN Pharm is the same teacher that teaches ADN Pharm. I even asked if I could take Pharm at the Junior college that only offers ADN class and of course they said no, it has to be a BSN Pharm. AHHHHHHHH
