I'm interested in doing the online through Cal State Dominguez Hills in CA. Please share with me your experience with BSN online classes. How do you like it. Or would you prefer to just attend a University.

I'm not familiar with all of the details, but the head of my ADN program runs a satellite version of this program for working ADNs in our area.
From what I've been told, the nurses did miss not having class at all, and requested that they have some traditional classes to supplement the program. So they set up a Saturday class where they all meet for instruction to supplement the online material.
So, in this particular situation, they do both online and offline instruction with this program. Just FYI.

I took Micro as an online class. It was the only way I could fit it in my schedule. I learned the lecture portion on my own, and had to go to campus for lab. Exams were taken in the testing center. I liked the leeway I had with when to study etc, but I really do enjoy listening to a teacher explain the concepts in a traditional classroom setting. For me personally, it's easier to learn that way. I wasn't a disciplined as you have to be with an online class. Although I did well, I think I might have done better if I had taken the traditional class.
