Hey everyone,
I'm just trying to narrow down where I want to eventually go for my BSN so I can make sure I take the right classes. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I really like the idea of an online program, but don't know if it would be better to do a B&M school like TWU or UNT.
Does anyone have any feedback about any of the programs in the area?
Thanks!!

There's Tarleton State University, located in Stephenville, that has an ADN to BSN program at the cost of about $2,500 per semester.

for an ADN-BSN, UTA and TWU have programs that have good reputations also. I'm leaning towards the UT Tyler program because I can do it on my own time.

Thanks for the suggestions. Stephenville and Tyler are pretty far from me. I'm near the airport.
What do you mean about being able to do it on your own time?

You and I have already discussed UT-Arlington, but UTMB (University of Texas - Medical Branch) has an online RN to BSN program. I'm looking at that one as well.
I would still need a couple more classes for UTMB, but it would be worth it to me being able to graduate from a UT campus & do it online. :chuckle
How do you feel about the UTMB program? Do you think it is better than other online programs?
I don't know anything about it, but I'm partial to UT.....and then I'm partial to all other Texas universities. :chuckle
I haven't looked into it that deeply to find out much about it.
I admire you for being able to make that drive. I had a 150 mile round trip drive, and did it for a year. That was too much for me. I'd rather do an online program than make that drive.
Fun -- I'm just trying to figure out what other classes I need so that I can get them out of the way. Since I don't need Chemistry for ECC, I won't have it for my BSN. And, it looks like most programs want it.
Yep, I took an 8 week General Chemistry at Mountain View. They offered the 2nd half in the next 8 weeks of the semester, but I didn't take it.
It wasn't bad. I'm sure you'd do well. :)
