Admitted Burlington County College for Spring 2014

Nursing Students School Programs

Hey everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for people who are going to starting the program on the spring. I also have some question for yas

  • are you buying some of the supplies from the bookstore or a place like work 'n gear?
  • where are you getting the books?
  • have you signed up for the cpr or nurs 103?
  • what nurs 119 did you register for?

I'm so a little nervous to start the program but even more excited, see you guys soon!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I tried it on my phone and lap top. I ended up just sending her an email through BCC to let her know I logged in.

Im glad im not the only one having a problem with my blackboard. I also do not have course messaging under my tools icon all i have is send email which is connected to my BCC email. I emailed **** and let her know about the problem and i also contacted BCC about it and they said its something the professor has to fix. Hopefully it will be fixed soon!

what chapters have you guys read in prep for lecture?

I've read a lot!!! In fundamentals I've read Ch. 1,4,5,3... Scopes pp. 1-30.... Gerontology ch. 34,37,38. It's all listed in the syllabus

in 119 there is a med administration practicum exam that has to be passed in order to give out meds in clinical, it consists of calculations and you will be tested on the procedure of preparing different types of meds.

I thought I would ask this question here since you guys have been admitted to the program. I know the minimum score for the Teas to be accepted into the program is 60% but do you know anyone who has been admitted with a score of 60-70%? I'm preparing for my teas next month and aiming for a minimum of 80% but just wondering, with all of the people applying is 70% even competitive enough?
