I was trying to do that a while ago and it wouldnt work so i asked one of my friends that took the program and she said that u do it on your 1st day of lab. I was going to call bcc and ask to make sure.
The Virtua Safety Day site is gone for 2013. I called Virtua and BCC Nursing department and they said that the 2013 safety day is gone and you will have to complete the 2014 Safety Day when it is available on the website, which is expected to be up January 31st according the the nursing department, but when I called Virtua she said they are hoping to have the site up in week or so. They also said that Virtua wont let you do clinical unless you complete all of the safety day modules before your clinical day. In Nursing 119-404 we don't start clinical until February 6th and it is at the Evergreens anyway so we wont be at Virtua until March so we will be okay with completing the Safety Day Modules in time. Thank you! I called BCC this morning and they said the same. I was under the impression that everything was pretty much due on the 7th. My fault for not looking at everything again since I've been done all paperwork since the beginning of December. Such a relief!
How's everyone doing? I just got my box of books and the rest I ordered will be coming on Tuesday, so I have a lot of reading to do! I still haven't bought my stethoscope, shoes or pants yet. The price of the books are insane! I met 5 others in my section and they all seem really nice to work with! Don't forget about our Issues paper, due on our first real clinical day!
I also passed Nur-103!!! @igsd777, After logging onto blackboard select the class and it should bring you to the course dashboard. From there, select tools and course messages. The messaging part is fairly similar to email. Also wondering how much snow we will get for our Tuesday lecture:nailbiting:
