I also passed Nur-103!!! @igsd777, After logging onto blackboard select the class and it should bring you to the course dashboard. From there, select tools and course messages. The messaging part is fairly similar to email. Also wondering how much snow we will get for our Tuesday lecture:nailbiting:

medical marijuana past and wanting to be a nurse
It always cracks me up that people on this discussion board are always so quick to judge someone on their marijuana usage. Considering there are proven health benefits. No I don't condone usage if you plan on becoming a nurse, but you'd think health industry inclined people would be more understanding. That being said, If the recommendation is expired then that answers your question right there. Your health is for you and your doctor to know, not the school and a background check. Many posters gave you some good advice and I hope you found the answers you were looking for. If you feel passionately for pursuing your dreams of becoming a nurse, then you can do it! Good luck with your nursing endeavors!

The lab kit comes in a big black bag with an over the shoulder handle, I assume this is the black bag theyre talking about? I have to get the shoes, some of them are so ugly and expensive I'll get them eventually lol. I wanted to do my CPR certification earlier than january but BCC's is the cheapest so I figure I might as well. My physical is scheduled for the 6th I believe.

We dont have to have the stethoscope engraved, but some sites offer it. I splurged actually and got an 80$ littmann steth (Rainbow Stethoscope: Littmann Classic SE 2823) its so pretty, i had to! I also ordered the name tags yesterday and while i was at pemberton i bought the lab kit ($75) we had to get. I think we also just have to send the money order in for the cpr class. Do we have to buy the bcc clinical top or is it just suppose to be white?

Camarogirl1124 I was waitlisted the past two semesters so i understand how frustrating the waiting game is. My overall GPA is a 3.5 with all my pre reqs done, and i scored a 70% on the TEAS. I really think all they look for is your pre-reqs are all complete and that your gpa is over a 2.5, of course the higher the more competitive. Also the lowest grade i have for a pre req was a c+, Im not sure if the class you got a D will count if it is a pre-req. Have you completed all your classes?
