Members are discussing acceptance offers from various universities such as U of T, YorkU, McMaster, and Western, and seeking advice on which school to choose based on faculty and student care. Some users are waiting to hear back from Queens and speculating on the admissions process, while others are sharing information about Facebook groups for specific programs at different universities.
Hello!
I am currently a fourth year student in Ontario, and I decided to apply to a few accelerated nursing programs for next Fall. I'm hoping this can be a space to share where people have applied, when they receive acceptances, chat about the process/questions, etc. I've seen previous threads and think it would be nice to have one of our own!Â
I have applied toÂ
Queens
Mac
York
UofT

Have a Happy New Years!

There's a Facebook group for UWO CTF Nursing class of 2026 you can join! https://www.facebook.com/share/8DDh4uNU27XGcVV8/?mibextid=K35XfP

I also accepted an offer elsewhere, I guess I'm just curious as to why it's taking so long. I haven't received a rejection email either but assuming it's a rejection at this point 😞

I think they have us on waitlist and if space permits then they might consider us for admission but once it's full then they will send a rejection letter. That happened to me last year where I applied late and was put on waitlist in May and then rejected in June but this year I don't even see the waitlist so I'm not entirely sure. They may have not reviewed all the applications yet. Maybe more people have applied this year and they are going through one batch at a time by sending offers and then waiting for that batch to accept/deny and then moving on to the next round of students. Â
