Members are discussing acceptance offers from various universities such as U of T, YorkU, McMaster, and Western, and seeking advice on which school to choose based on faculty and student care. Some users are waiting to hear back from Queens and speculating on the admissions process, while others are sharing information about Facebook groups for specific programs at different universities.
Hello!
I am currently a fourth year student in Ontario, and I decided to apply to a few accelerated nursing programs for next Fall. I'm hoping this can be a space to share where people have applied, when they receive acceptances, chat about the process/questions, etc. I've seen previous threads and think it would be nice to have one of our own!
I have applied to
Queens
Mac
York
UofT
Have a Happy New Years!
Let me know if anyone else is experiencing this:
I have received an offer for Mac accelerated (yay) on May 7th. I received an email saying I have an update on my account, and I can see my conditional offer! But, that's basically all I have. I have no official offer letter of admission or any details. I know I need to accept by May 21st but that's all!! Does anyone have any other details that may help me like the conditions or other important things!
Hello,
I have applied to UofT, McMaster, Western, YorkU and QueensU.
So far I've been accepted to YorkU and McMaster.
I'm not exactly sure which school I should choose so if someone could help persuade me on that then that would be greatly appreciated. In particular I'm looking for a school that cares for their students and has great faculty. I started Humber's program in 2023 but dropped it because of extremely rude staff.

I completed a health science graduate degree at McMaster as an international student. While it took some time to appreciate Hamilton, both the university and town are indeed great and highly recommended. Not to mention, McMaster is renowned for its health science majors in Canada, known as one of the best. Why not aim for that?

I will definitely accept McMaster if I don't get accepted to the other schools, but if I do get accepted then I'm not sure which one to consider. So far I'm hearing UofT's program is the best in terms of placements. But among Queens, Western, McMaster and UofT it will be hard to choose.
