Admission to BHSON 2014

Published

Hi,

I recently submitted my application to Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing for this fall. Who is with me? I'm so excited yet nervous. I hope I get in. Anyone got and acceptance letter ye?

Same here. I work at Bridgeport Hospital. Everything else that I submitted was up to par so I'm thinking we do have a great chance. :)

Seriously i hope we both get in.

my application status just changed yesterday from under review to decision letter mailed out. Ahhhhh to nervous.

Sounds like you two have a good shot. I have been a personal trainer for almost 6 years maybe that helps me get in. My TEASE was not good at all. Very disappointed in that test. I only had 2 weeks to prepare for it on top of other school work. Best of luck to both of you. I was hoping to hear by this Friday but since it did not change I don't think I will know this week. I have to know by the first so I know what classes to take in the summer.

Best of luck to you as well. Yeah the teas is a horrible exam. Love how it ask me questions about rocks as if that with help me with nursing .

Same here i plan on taking micro in the summer if i get in.

What were your teas scores. It's hard go discern a good vs bad score with that test.

My second try was a 77. Would have been an 80 but I flubbed some of the English that I aced the first time. The important thing to me was that my science went up 18 points.

The teas isn't the worst test. I took the PAX as well and though I disliked it more I did better on it (146).

Hahaha. I'll be taking AP2 and Micro in the summer if I get in.

Not today. Thinking by Friday. I'm going to make LOTS of tasks to keep my mind off this...and remember I already have one.

I am am going where fate takes me on this one...but preferably not too far!

TEAS score of 63. This is not a reflection on what I normally get since my "practice" tests where in the mid 70s. I was not focused and missed about 12 answers all together. I just filled them in at the end. I did very well in the Science part and the reading. But punted the math and language badly. I'm counting on them seeing the GPA and realizing I had not even taken AP or Chemistry yet. Taking Chem now and AP1 in the summer.

My score was in the 60's as well. I scored high in Science and English and did okay in the Math portion. I ran out of time for the Reading section so I ended up filling in answers blindly. My GPA is high; I got a B in Chemistry, the rest of my grades are A+.
