Hello all,
I'm a recent nursing graduate, currently prepping for the NCLEX. I just finished taking all of the Kaplan trainers (except QT 7) as well as the Kaplan NCLEX-RN sample test.
Grades for QT 1 - 3 (taken during nsg capstone course and before the Kaplan course):
QT 1: 59%
QT 2: 64%
QT 3: 50% (did terribly on this one)
Grades for QT 4 - 6 (after the Kaplan prep course):
QT 4: 65%
QT 5: 63%
QT 6: 59%
NCLEX-RN sample test: 77%
My question is: are these decent scores for starting my NCLEX prepping? I keep hearing different things about what grades we should be getting. Some say 55 - 65% are ideal, Kaplan says 60 - 65, etc. I just feel like my scores seem to start off fairly well, then drop. How did you all do on Kaplan vs. NCLEX performance (don't need specific scores, just curious)? Any advice for NCLEX prepping or for taking the Kaplan tests?
I hope my long spiel makes sense!
