Additional certification and training

Hi all,

I'm looking for advice on what useful certifications, continuing ED or courses to pursue to support my career (I've been licensed for 10 months so far). What are your recommendations?

Learning skills and information is more important to me than specific credentials, unless those credentials can actually expand my scope.

I'm especially interested in sexual and reproductive health, especially for LGBTQ+ populations, but am game for anything that helps the patients. My clinic is a FQHC with a large population of immigrants, poor folks, folks with mental health diagnoses and substance use disorder.

I read the post as general career and as I may want a new employer, and or specialty after another 14 months. Not certifications specific to ambulatory. To OP sorry if I misread what you were looking for.

Thanks so much! I am sticking to ambulatory care, but I’m happy to hear other suggestions even if they don’t fit. Sorry to have caused confusion!
