Hey everyone! So I tried doing a search for this- but it kept coming up with board review book suggestions. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good clinical resource book or app for acute care? I'll be starting the first clinical rotation in a month, and I'd like to be as prepared as possible. Have any of you found there was one specific resource you used all the time?
I have UpToDate on my phone already. But would a differential diagnosis app be helpful too? If so- anyone know of a good one?
Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!

Try out the AgileMD app. There are many free resources on there.
Thanks!! I have the AgileMD app (I think from seeing you recommend it before). I will definitely check out those other resources as well!
Do you feel the Sanford antimicrobial book or app is worth purchasing?

I've had the Sanford book through the years (and I never really bought it, it was given by a Pharm Rep). I didn't find it easy to use. There is a John Hopkins Antibiotics Guide that used to be free and is now available for a fee (on mobile devices). I found that easy to use. Fortunately, I work for a system that has our own antibiotic guide and dosing website online and via mobile app. It does matter because antibiograms and formularies are different depending on where you are.
Oh yes- the PharmD who teaches most of our pharm lectures showed us UCSF's abx site! He did mention that about each area being different. My program director sent us a pdf of the Hopkins one...I haven't taken much time to look at it though. The NW is probably more similar to UCSF than the east coast antibiograms....at least I would think so. All I know is that I'm developing a love
