I am taking the Advanced Cardiac Life Support course for the first time next month and would appreciate any helpful hints.
Anyone else study for this course, if so what study material are you using?
Any free references online that I could use?
Thanks

Read the book, it's the best resource there is in my opinion. I read it over two evenings prior to going in and I felt very confident going in and was the only one to make a 100 on the test (the grader just happened to blurt that out, which wasn't really appropriate, but nonetheless, I did make a 100 on the test).

I second Tweety's comments, get the manual a head of time and review it. The instructors and AHA want you to pass.
It's not like old days with the 'mega code' where some of the instructors would try to fail you.
Study and you'll do fine.

Yes get the manual and there should be dvd in it that you can use withthe pretest.
Please do not use any of the online sites for ACLS...last time I looked they had not been updated tot he new guidelines.
Good Luck..
I checked ACLS.net and it has finally been updated to the new guidelines..
