Hi, I'm almost done with prerequisites and therefore getting ready to apply to many BSN programs. Its so competitive out there! Anyway, I'm wondering what the names of the accreditations are that the schools should have. For example, one school I decided not to apply to because I was told they don't have such and such cred', which means you cannot go on to grad school.
So, what accreditations do the good schools have?
Thank you,
Andrew

After asking the Google machine, you'll find that the two accrediting organizations are the NLNAC and the CCNE. As long as at least one accredits the program, you should be set on that front.
Thanks! I did try a little googling and ended up getting confused. This helps me in my school search, I appreciate it.

If the school's nursing program is not accredited by the National League for Nursing (NLNAC), then accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is also very much acceptable. It should be either one or the other.
