Hello everyone!
I'm new posting on this site but I have been around reading other peoples comments.
I wanted to start a thread for students that have been accepted to the Simmons nursing program entering fall 2012 as well as students that have attended and graduated from this program.
Please leave any comments, I am eager to read what everyone has to say.
Here is a bit about my self:
This will be my first degree, I attend Roxbury Community College and will receive my AS in Health Science by the end of the summer (while working full-time). It sure has not been an easy task. I had my back up plan, with the competitiveness of nursing programs I never imagined that I would get accepted to any school in Boston. Needless to say, my excitement has not been easy to contain and I smile to myself every time I think about what awaits for me in the near future.
I am also applying for Fall 2012...just waiting for my recommendation letters to go through! How was the process for you? Did you interview?
I didn't interview - but have spoken to the admissions counselor several times throughout the application process. So far everything has been great and everyone in the admissions office has been super helpful. Good luck!!
Hello guys,
When I spoke with my admissions counselor, she told me that they review applications at the end of every month until all the spots fill up. I say that if you are still waiting by the middle of the March call them and make sure that they have received all of your requirements. I had to do that, turns out that they spelled my first name two different ways and had two different application packages open for me. This was in the middle of January, once my admission counselor confirmed that everything was submitted she entered my application for review.
