Accepted into the LPN program in NJ

Hey Layne87! I apologize for a late response, things been crazy busy around here. I start the Sept in OCVTS. So far I passed Teas, finished criminal background and drug screening. I met up with Financial Aid and all is set. I have interview April 13th. Where are you in the process as well? What school are you going to? Aren't you so excited?!

Hey Penny, no worriesí ½í¸€. I will be starting OCVTS with you in the Fall. Woohoo! I met with financial aid last week (all went well) and I will be going in for my interview this Wednesday. I'm really excited. I want to start getting books, scrubs and supplies already! í ½í¸

Layne87! It's so exciting isn't it? Yeah I met w/ Financial Aid last week, all well too. Now for the interview (April 13th), which I am so worried about, but heard everyone is so friendly and nice, so that helps. I want to get my scrubs already too and books. Lol. I been already looking them up. Hopefully we are in the same class :). I hear they split classes up in 2... class A and class B. Not sure if they still do that though. We get assigned classes. This is going to be great, but I am sure stressful too haha.

PennyMT do you know where we have to get the scrubs? I hope we're in the same class as well.We're going to all need a support system for this crazy journey we're about to embark on.

Layne87, I'm not sure where to get scrubs, but heard of a good place in Toms River where we can get our name badges as well. I really hope we are in the same class too and can all study together. I am scared to death, but I am so anxious too and want to start this already Lol. Feels like 5 months is going to take forever. I passed the Teas-v in November and feels like it's taking forever. ha.

Hey PennyMT thanks for the information.I went for my interview today, it was a very pleasant experience. My thoughts that this is going to be a vigorous program were confirmed. Lol. Wow you've been waiting since November, I just passed the TEAS in February. It seems like time is flying by so fast.

Yep, passed it Nov 12th, and been waiting patiently.... or maybe not too patient. Lol. What kind of questions did they ask you? Was it w/ one person or a few? I am terrified! Lol. I don't know what to expect!

I was nervous as well. It was with one person. I was asked why did I want to be a nurse, my plans for getting through the program successfully (being that I have a husband and children who will require my time as well). How do I handle criticism? They were very easy questions to get to know the students a little better. The interview wasnt overwhelming at all. Waiting for the interview was. Lol. Have no worries you'll do great.

Hi Penny, so happy your interview went well. I'm so excited to get in there and get started. I have a long list of school supplies already. Lol. I had called yesterday to find out information about orientation and found out it's on June 25th, when I'll be away on vacation í ½í¸•. The school said it was fine but I was looking forward to meeting everyone before school started. May have to move some things aroundí ½í¸! Also if you don't mind me asking, what information was given in the packets. I know they were mailed out, just being inquisitive! Lol
