Hey everyone,
I just got my acceptance letter for CSUCI BSN for Fall 2008, I am so excited! Just wondering if anyone else has gotten in too? Also, any and all advice is welcome! Thanks

Are you referring to their RN to BSN program? I am hunting around for an RN to BSN program, sent them an e mail & never heard back.
I've actually been acceptd to the generic BSN program, not the RN to BSN program. I know they have on though! This is the link to the page that has info on the RN to BSN program http://nursing.csuci.edu/track2.htm

I didn't get accepted but I'm on the alternate list. Hopefully someone will give up their spot.

CONGRATS!!!! How many points did you have if you don't mind me asking?! I want to apply next year.
And kirameki4, how many points did you have?
I am trying to accumulate more points by starting volunteer work soon and trying to get foreign language points. Before I put too much in, I just wanted to know if I would even come close (points-wise) to getting in... Or if it would all just be a waste.

I noticed you posted this in 2008. How do you like it so far? I'm currently attending CSUCI with a degree in Psychology but I want to change to Nursing. I have most of the requirements except the foreign language and I need to take Microbiology. Any tips. I'm hoping to get accepted in the Fall 2010. Also where did you take the TEAS test?
Thanks
Liz
Hi everyone, sorry I haven't responded earlier.
I applied for Fall 08 with 33 points I think. For my class the minimum points they accepted was 28. I just began my second year, and I still love it! Ive learned so much, its a great program. I say go for it Liz! Definitely try and get as many points as possible. A huge advantage would be for you to get some expirience actually working with patients, like being a CNA or a caregiver. I took the TEAS at Moorpark College, but I know that they offer it at CSUCI as well. Good luck! Any questions fell free to ask
Thanks so much for reply. I have a bunch of questions, do you have time to chat? I'm local. I live in Camarillo and currently attend CSUCI. Let me know and I can email you my cell phone number. My email is [email protected].
Thanks!
