Well, I just got my acceptance letter today from Community College for Philadelphia (CCP). Yay! It was the only school I applied to, so I am happy to be offered admission. For those waiting on CCP, you may be getting your acceptance letter soon. :nuke:
I have a question re: acceptance to the CCP nursing program, how do you go about getting in the program? I plan on speaking with a counselor, but thought someone may help me out here. I have taken all my prereqs at CCP and just want to get into the program already! Can anyone help me?
did you take your allied health test yet?
roxyemt: I started by applying to the school since I'm from out of state. Then, I attended their informational session. I don't know why they don't publish their schedule for this online, but you can pick it up at the Welcome Center. During the informational session, you'll have a chance to fill out a form to petition for Nursing as your major. After that, I submitted my transcripts. They will schedule you for the Allied Health Test (I scored the max, but was told later that I didn't have to take it since I already have a Bachelor's and that they will not count it). Finally, I just waited for the acceptance letter. You'll get a pamphlet during the informational session that will show you how they score you as an applicant. I hope this helps and good luck.
how was the allied health test, was it difficult?
