Hello everyone, I have been waiting sooo long to make this post:typing. So finally after three whole long months:banghead:(seemed like eternity) here goes!!! I just recieved my acceptance letter today for the LPN program and I am so excited. I have been singing andall day long. I start in January. So has anyone else received their letter?
Hey can you guys help me out understanding the "acceptance" letter? I too applied to an LPN program here in TN. Got a letter, but I'm an alternate. What I want to know is...in your letter(s) do you have to do something to say you want the position by a certian date? I'm trying to figure out what the accepted people have to do so maybe I can judge how and when my time comes. Am I making any sense?

Hello lovinglife, my letter said that I have to attend orientation (which is tomorrow) in order to hold my spot and if im not mistaken if a person doesnt show up for the orientation they have lost their spot and the alternates are called in. At some other schools i have heard that they have to call in by a certain date and say that they still want it. Hope that helps.

Just finished the focus portion of LPN school and am almost done. I'm sitting here working on my caremap and nurses' notes. Jeepers this is going to be the longest eight days ever. I didn't think getting accepted to LPN school was a big deal till about the middle of the year when my mother got sick. Congrats. Be prepared for a year of no life, no money, no sex, no nothing unless you sacrifice grades like I did. I worked, took care of my sick mother and had sex a few times this past year in exchange for high eighties and low nineties. It was worth it but I still can't believe it's almost over and some august body of people are going to decide I can administer meds to someone!!!!!
