acceptable questions to ask nursing resident?

its my first day of clinicals next week and i need to prepare questions to ask my patient and i was wondering what general questions i can ask that will be appropriate?

you mean a nursing home resident? anything that pertains to your assessment that you need to provide appropriate care for them..

do you have any examples of questions you were thinking of asking that you thought would be inappropriate?

Well you should have been given more direction than just make up some questions. I'm guessing that what they are looking for are more of your "health history" type questions and also assessment type questions.

usually for clinical there is some kind of packet for you to fill out on the patient.. if so, just ask the questions you will need to complete the packet. i sure hope your instructor gives you more instruction than just "make up some questions."
