Greetings, everyone! So much good information and such a great community of help here; I love it!
I have made the decision to attend an Accelerated BSN program. Does anyone have any sources of information or recommendations for the best ABSN programs in Los Angeles, CA? Money is not an issue; I am looking for the best level of education ABSN programs can offer. Also, I do not plan on going to a community college to start with prerequisites as that will take too long since the schools are so impacted so I would need to enter a school that includes all prerequisites. Thanks!
You might be able to take the Religious Studies course at their school. Although the NCLEX rates are low, I have two friends who graduated from there and they told me that their clinicals/rotations were done at UCLA and Cedar Sinai, which are two very highly regarded hospitals in the area.
I do agree that the program is very accelerated! If that pace isn't fit for you then the CSU programs might be better :)
Good luck!

Thanks for your help. I have also heard that CSULA is really good, but not too much about the other schools besides from them. I'm trying to get more details from others such as people who have worked with graduates from these schools. I'm also only really looking at these specific programs at the moment as I am either in the process of interviewing with them, have been accepted, or am waiting to be accepted.
I checked out Mount Saint Mary's website and I don't think I would be able to apply because the fall deadline just passed and it seems to have very specific requirements. One example is a Religious Studies course requirement, which I can't take at my local community college. In addition, the NCLEX passing rates are lower than the CSUs' I mentioned. It is also only 3 semesters long which is maybe too accelerated. It might not be the program for me.
