  1. You might be able to take the Religious Studies course at their school. Although the NCLEX rates are low, I have two friends who graduated from there and they told me that their clinicals/rotations were done at UCLA and Cedar Sinai, which are two very highly regarded hospitals in the area. I do agree that the program is very accelerated! If that pace isn't fit for you then the CSU programs might be better :) Good luck!
  2. You might want to consider Mount Saint Mary's ABSN program. Entrance is the most competitive compared to the schools you listed but it is probably the most highly regarded. From word of mouth, I've also heard that CSULA is really good. That's all I know, I hope someone more informed can chip in!
  3. Thank you all for your replies! It is pretty hard to figure out which of the community colleges have better availability of classes but I'm going to assume it will be hard at any of them.
  4. Hi! Thanks for the response! I am not looking for information on transfer agreements. I just am looking for information for which school would be better to take the prerequisites. Thanks!
  5. Greetings! I can't seem to find any information as to which school would be ideal to complete prerequisites before transferring to CSULA, CSULB, or CSUN. I do have a Bachelor's Degree so I might even apply for UCLA's MECN. Any input on whether I should attend LACC, SMC or any other Community College in that area? Thank you in advance!
  6. TLeeM, that was extremely helpful! I will definitely add that information to my spreadsheet. Thank you so much!!
  7. Wow thank you for that :) seems like ucla is a great school for the accelerated bsn. Any other schools anyone can recommend for the ABSN?
  8. Thank you for your reply :) looks like I will have to take classes at a community college. Luckily I like studying Apologies for my elementary understanding of this topic. What does it mean to be put on hold? Once again, thank you, everyone for your help! This is really helping me narrow down my options :)
  9. Thanks for the reply! I spent the past few hours researching the accelerated BSN programs and am realizing that what you are saying is in fact what I need to do. I will have to take a year or so taking prerequisites. The reason money is not of concern isn't because I have a money tree in my yard. I do not prioritize money as much because I am certain I could pay it off within however many years it would take. I paid off $60,000 of my student loans within three years :) Any recommendations for accelerated BSN programs in the Los Angeles area?
  10. Greetings, everyone! So much good information and such a great community of help here; I love it! I have made the decision to attend an Accelerated BSN program. Does anyone have any sources of information or recommendations for the best ABSN programs in Los Angeles, CA? Money is not an issue; I am looking for the best level of education ABSN programs can offer. Also, I do not plan on going to a community college to start with prerequisites as that will take too long since the schools are so impacted so I would need to enter a school that includes all prerequisites. Thanks!
