accelerated bsn program at njcu in jersey city, nj

Does anybody attend the Accelerated BSN program in NJCU? If so what is the cost of the program? How competative is it to get in? Will they accept you if your overall GPA is lower than a 3.0 but you have a very high GPA in your prerequisites? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

News!!! they are sending the letters on Tuesday of next week. Sooo the torture is still on.. lol

NJCU sent an e-mail to about 50 people today asking for an additional form. They said it was missing from a good number of applications and that it was what was holding up the letters. The woman in the Admin dept said the letters should be going out on Tuesday.

i just called today because i thought the letters were suppose to go out this past monday. she told me that we will be hearing something in the next couple weeks and that they are sending out emails to those missing information. what mssing information means im not sure bc i know that i have not completed all my pre-reqs yet and they told me that they will base ur acceptance off what you have submitted and i have not recieved an email requesting any information so im not sure what missing information they are looking for from the applications. I am soo anxoius i just want to know if i got in or not.. I dont want to wait another two weeks or week whatever it may be

I know I thought for sure by the end of this week we would know. Yes I wonder what missing information they are talking about? I didn't get an email either.

I received an email about a document of certification and acknowledgement that i had to sign and fax over. it basically asked if u are on unemployment and have a waiver to attend school.

I received the email too so I panicked because I thought I wouldn't get it back in time and I called since I'm out of the country....... please do not quote me on this because I cannot say it for a fact except for myself, but I think if you got the email you may have been accepted. That was my case..... again please don't quote me but I have a funny feeling if I was on that list and I got accepted then those other ppl on the list have been accepted as well....I ended up speaking to the dean herself and because I am out of the country due to a family emergency, they told me the status of my app because I can't send the paperwork back. they will be sending out letters next Tuesday so everyone will hear by then... if anyone has any questions feel free to aks, but just please take my word and don't quote me.... though I am very excited to know I got in I still wish everyone the best of luck!!!!

I am really sorry to hear about your family emergency. I was out of the country last week because I had a family emergency as well :( Congrats on your acceptance! I am just praying I get accepted too!! Trying to be hopeful!! lol maybe we will be classmates in the fall!!:)
