Does anybody attend the accelerated BSN program in NJCU? If so what is the cost of the program? How competative is it to get in? Will they accept you if your overall GPA is lower than a 3.0 but you have a very high GPA in your prerequisites? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, I am new to this website and have currently applied to NJCU for September 2010. I was wondering has anyone heard when they would send out acceptance letters? thanks!!:) I heard it was late July but I thought that sounded pretty late, esp if students are applying for FASA bc their forms are due June 30th. Any one have any insight?

Hi Ash93,

You should always complete FAFSA ASAP after Jan regardless of pending appl. Just add all the schools you would like to go that way you don't miss any of the deadlines. Each school has deadlines for State & College Aid....the early birds get the most worms. Hope this helps.....apply today!

I spoke with Samantha regarding the problems I had at the Prometric test site and was suppose to do a retake but it didn't happen so she already knew that I had some difficulty.....don't know if she will pass on this info to the decision-makers. I think essay/references/resume are all great. Prerequsites are ok...nothing spectacular, A, C(s)& B...ungrad 3.4....will see what happens.

I also applied for the Fast Track program in the Fall 2010 and i was wondering if anyone know when they are going to send in the letters of you are accepted or not?

hopefully we're all classmates soon!! as it was said before the wait begins...

I was finally able to accessed my HESI scores and the average was a 77..

I don't know if it was for that day or everybody that applied

We probably won't know until late July, as I read in previous posts from years back...I hate this waiting game!! Good luck to all!! I think it was the average for that day...but not 100% sure!!

I am guessing that we should know sooner than the end of July. I've noticed the posts from last year indicate that their HESI exams were closed on June 10 for the 2009 fall cohort. It appears that it took the admissions folks about a month to make their decisions and inform everybody.

The HESI exam for the 2010 fall cohort closed on April 22. So I would presume we would get acceptance letters before the end of May.

I spoke with someone in the NJCU nursing department and my assumption was confirmed. It was mentioned that we should be receiving our notifications by end of May. Good luck all.

Hi all, I took my HESI A2 not too long ago and thought it was okay. I was super nervous about Chem, because that seems to be my weakest subject but it ended up being one of my strongest scores, so that was sort of unexpected lol! I applied for NJCU's Fall 2010 class and I'm really nervous about getting in, the suspense is crazyy! :crying2:
