I hope someone can help me with this.
Do you know anyone who has done this program? How was it?
I am confused that their website says it will not give a Bachelors Degree since when you apply you already have one. Hmm. It is CCNE Accredited so am thinking it's legit.
If anyone has any information, I would really appreciate that.
Thanks

that doesn't make sense....you need a Bachelor's to get into an accelerated BSN program...when you graduate you receive your BSN
Here's what I found:
Do I obtain a baccalaureate degree in nursing after I have completed the major?
ï‚· Concordia College does not confer a baccalaureate degree since the degree has already been earned. Upon completion of the accelerated nursing program the individual will have acquired another major at the baccalaureate level. For example, the individual will have a baccalaureate degree in a non-nursing major from a college/university where the degree was earned with a major in nursing.
It's some kind of "tag-on" program so you end up with "the equivalent" of a BSN...but not a BSN. I don't know what employers that require a BSN would think about it...but I'm guessing they wouldn't accept it in lieu of a traditional BSN....but who knows
I would investigate their pass rates and their employment rates further...find out who's hiring the grads
and this place is expensive! It even has a disclaimer about "sticker shock" before you can figure out the tuition cost!

Yes this is what I was trying to understand. I don't think this will be accepted in Canada, because that's where I will be working after school.
I couldn't find the tuition rates...I wonder why??!! I figured it must be expensive.
