Get a lawyer.
Agreed. The BON is not your friend--they're looking out for the patient's interests first and foremost. We can't give legal advice here, so a lawyer would be the best person to talk to for help...IMO, don't go before the BON without one representing you.
The only other advice that I can give is that if this matter concerns you, a coworker, a friend, etc., that you minimize the details that you share online. Even better, say nothing about it on the web. Once you post something here or anywhere on the internet, it can be very difficult or impossible to undo.
Good luck to whoever is involved.
Do you have malpractice insurance? Call them today for a lawyer. If you don't still call a lawyer. DO NOT go there alone.
I also agree to cease discussion on this matter. Don't discuss with co-workers, on the web, etc. It can be used against you. Let your lawyer advise you.

Has anyone had to go in front of the Tennessee BON for abuse and neglect?
