Hello everyone. Grand Canyon University is starting an ABSN program. Has anyone heard much about it or if anyone is applying to the summer semester? There is a Phoenix (Sun City) and Tuscon location. The requirements are the same as the pre-licensure, but this program is for individuals who already have a Bachelor's in a non-nursing degree.

Hey! I am looking to apply to this program for May 2021 and need to take the same 2 classes. Have you started the classes? Or able to register for them? Thanks!

I’m taking the classes now. They are 7 week fast paced courses (no joke). I don’t mind them. Your counselor has to register you for the courses once you apply to the school. If you plan to start May 2021, I’d advise you get registered as soon as possible with your advisor at GCU.
Sweet! Thank you! I have a meeting with an advisor on Friday. ?
Hello! I recently found this board and I am beyond happy/excited that I did. I live in CA and to be honest I applied to GCU (Phoenix) to be able to fly back home when possible. I am just concerned about the amount of work that is online and managing the work without attending lecture. I have a family and would like to do some work at home and then fly to AZ for clinical. If anyone is currently in the program then I would like to know how often is it required of you to physically be in AZ? Looking forward to a response and congrats to anyone that has been accepted. Getting into a program is very exciting...we all know how tough it is with applications and it’s just good news to hear people getting into programs.

Hi there! I'm from Central California looking to start the program in September too! I talked to the advisor and it looks like I need to complete the Christian World View, Pathophysiology and retake Life Span (over 7 years) as well as the HESI test. Which campus are you interested in enrolling into?
