ABSN Duke Fall 2010

Hi All!

I have decided to take the plunge and leave my career as a mental health therapist to gain a BSN in Nursing and hopefully move straight into MSN program. Is anyone else applying to Duke in the Fall??:yeah:

From what I read on last year's posts, lots of folks made it into either this cohort or the next. (Spring 2011).

Good news for all of those on the waitlist. I got in, but have decided its just not the right time for me to make the time or money commitment. So theres a space for you!

Wow, I missed a lot in the last couple hours cuz I was taking a nap, haha. I was sick this past weekend, but today definitely made me feel better cuz I'm going to Duke too!!

Congrats everyone! And people on the waitlist, don't lose hope. From what I understood from Duke Days, even if you don't end up getting accepted for the fall, you pretty much have a guaranteed spot for the spring. So good luck!

I went ahead and started the Facebook group... I'm bored in between classes and still so excited about all of this. :)

There's also the Yahoo group that I just found out you get invited to join once you accept the admissions offer, so it may end up being redundant, but oh well. An extraneous FB group never hurt anyone.

I never use Yahoo anyways. I just joined the FB group too.

I am so happy for all of you! Waitlisted people included, because from what I can tell, you are as good as in!

Our girl at Duke sets up the Yahoo group. I dont usually yahoo either, but right now its just the two of us. Im sure shed like better company... :)
