Hey Ya'll. I officially declined this morning. I whom ever takes my spot really enjoys there time at Duke and gives it the 100% passion I could not. I am looking into setting up a priviate therapy practice so if you guys ever have patients from the Asheville area needing therapy, you know who to call. Thanks Ladies. I think it will be fine. I want to look professional but comfortable too. For all you ladies coming in from out of State its going to be COLD, they are even talking about snow. Make sure to bring a warm jacket. Also if you are hanging out on Saturday the high is 27 and snowy so bring your Uggs!!

Hey Ya'll Ok one question. Is anyone not wearing a suit. I'm just not a full on suit girl. I was thinking dark grey slacks, white button down with pewter colored flats. I mean very classy just not a suit. You all think that is ok?

Hey Ya'll! Is everyone staying at the Millineum? I want to be able to meet everyone but we are staying at The Indigo Hotel. My boyfriend is coming with me but not to the actual day. I'm sure he will be holed up doing some work drinking a beer somewhere! I'd love to meet up for Que and a cocktails :) I still have not gone shopping...tomorrow is the day. I will report back with my wardrobe choice. Also I am a bit sad about the "wear comfortable shoes" thing. I am pretty attached to my stilettos

Hey Everyone! Wow, it feel like I've been gone forever. I have been so busy lately, I've not had a chance to check in. I am so excited for everyone who is interviewing this week (today!) and for all of us whom are interviewing 1 week from today (eeekkkeeee) I am so looking forward to meeting everyone. Hey Kelly! Welcome to the Club. I hope you will like NC. Duke boast an absolutely stunning campus, though last time I was there it was spring and there were tulips absolutely everywhere! It will be a bit brown and barren this time of year but I think you will enjoy it here in NC, I know I do (I live about 3 hours away in Asheville NC).

Gator! That was a huge help. I was unaware that South Durham was so far away from Duke, I was thinking it was closer to 10 mins so I am glad you corrected me. I am looking forward to looking more at the Watts-Hillandale area, sounds safe and close to campus. Renting a house would be prime as I have a dog might be angry with me if he did not have a back yard! Thanks again for the info!

Hey Everyone! It feels like forever! Hope everyone had a great Holiday and wonderful New Years! I've been snowed/iced in for what feels like weeks. The wild chill is -8 degrees for tonight...someone send me back to the deep south! Can anyone tell me about the area near the Shops at Southpointe? I have been to that area a few times and it seem nice/safe. For me, safety is a priority. I'd also like to be near shopping ect, and of course not really far from campus. I appreciate all the information on Old West Durham and the Watts- Hillandale area, I am going to look them up for sure! Carolina...good luck girl! I still hope to meet you when we are all in the area :)
