About to start clinicals

Hello to all you fabulous NPs out there, I will be joining the ranks of your greatness soon. I am starting clinicals within the week and I want to make the best of my experience. Looking back at your own clinical experience is there anything you wish you would have done differently to maximize your learning? Thank you in advance for your responses.

Spent more time researching the 'why' we did certain interventions. I spent a vast amount of time looking at the simplistic problems like DM, HTN, etc and didn't look at the less common medical illnesses that take understanding.
