Just a quickie question .. is there somewhere to look up all these abbreviations everyone uses to refer to nursing courses, levels, etc. I am feeling lost with some of them. I know everyone's program is different and countries vary. I am not even sure I know the difference between some of the nursing levels. I guess what I'm looking for is some sort of "Nursing Terms and Abbreviations for Dummies".

Taber's cyclopedia is a great item to have, I use it for just about every class. Many of the terms and jargon will come in time.

I guess it might be helpful if we did not take for granted that everything we abbreviate is understood by all.
Yes, Tabers is good and so is Stedmans.
You will soon know it like the back of your hand!!!! And you can ask any question in here if you are unsure.
It's all so new and so much to get used to!! But it's great!! I'm loving it! Can't wait to start school!
