Is there anyone out there from California with 2 duis that have benefited from AB Bonta (2396)? If so please share your story. I have read about people with multiple drug convictions over 10 years ago who have been pushed through after the passing of the bill. I wondered if this affects people with old duis also. I would imagine that it should.

I am applying soon but waiting for a dui to be expunged. I am looking for some hope for my situation. Any helpful information you can give me will be appreciated.

Wow, this is interesting. I would like to know more about people who have expunged convictions in California who were able to get licensed via AB Bonta 2396.

I have a expunged conviction and was denied....I am appealing and am waiting to see what happens with the attorney general assigned to my appeal and the new law. I will keep you all updated on what happens. I also know of someone from my class who had multiple DUI's and was licensed right away. Hope the new law works out for us all.

The person in your class with multiple DUIs who was licensed right away: Do you know how old they were? Were they expunged/dismissed? Did they have a lawyer check their application?

I am still hunting for information. Anyone out there who has 2 duis and an unrestricted license in California?
